Peter Taylor
Artist Biography
Pete Taylor is a self taught digital photographer based in Solihull and Birmingham UK. His work focuses mainly on capturing the contrasts, diversity, and unscripted moments of city life. Pete finds inspiration in colour, light, texture and movement within our urban spaces.
His work has been exhibited in a number of galleries in Birmingham and London and also featured in photography journals.

The three images I would love to see exhibited are from my Birmingham "street" photography project.
The images are built around light, shadow, isolation and geometry.
Abstract shadows, reflections, and solitary figures moving through spaces that feel monumental and permanent, while their presence is temporary.
These images can be read as being about the individual moving through an indifferent urban environment.
