Pav Moore

Artist biography

Pav Moore is a UK-based photographer specialising in landscape, travel and automotive photography. His work is driven by a fascination with light, atmosphere and the fleeting moments that can transform an otherwise ordinary scene.

Originally developing his practice through landscape and travel photography, Pav has photographed coastlines, mountains, historic locations and cities across the UK and Europe. His approach is centred around exploring a location, observing how the light changes and waiting for moments that cannot easily be recreated.

More recently, his practice has expanded into automotive photography, where he applies the same attention to composition, colour and detail to performance and modified cars. Whether photographing a quiet coastal sunset or a striking automotive build, Pav aims to create images that make the viewer pause and look closer.

Based in the UK, his work continues to explore the relationship between place, light and subject, with a particular interest in authentic moments rather than heavily staged scenes.

About the artwork

This collection brings together five photographs exploring landscape, atmosphere, heritage and automotive design. My photography is driven by a desire to capture moments and subjects that create a strong sense of place, whether that is a historic steam train travelling through the Scottish Highlands, a Highland cow standing within an open landscape, or a classic Lamborghini surrounded by natural framing.

Across the collection, I place particular importance on light, composition and timing. The sunset image focuses on a fleeting moment of natural light, while the landscape photographs explore the relationship between people, history and the environments around them. The automotive work approaches cars with the same attention to shape, texture and atmosphere that I bring to landscape photography.

Rather than simply documenting a location or subject, I aim to create photographs that make the viewer pause and experience the atmosphere of the moment. The collection reflects my interest in finding beauty in both dramatic landscapes and carefully designed machines, while developing a visual style rooted in colour, detail and strong composition.
