Book a studio visit here

For my first solo show with Asylum, I will present a series of works inspired by my interactions and engagement with outdoor community spaces.

In my current project, Nomadic Practice, I’m exploring how my studio practice relates to different spaces and environments; whilst highlighting how cultural background and heritage influence meaningful making in a socially engaged practice. Through creating in various outdoor areas, I focus on tactile experiences, mutual belonging, and themes of sharing and community.

Over the summer, I’ve had the honour of working with Northfield Arts Forum + Community garden, Bearwood Community Hub, The Parakeet, & Daniel Blyden within his community garden and Groowroom.

Amongst the work, you will find work created by/with children, by me and in response to engagement during workshops and community sessions. Work includes ‘Bundles’ (2021) and two new pieces that are currently in progress.
