Artist Biography
My art practice is primarily focused on painting, with occasional use of mixed media and raw canvas to emphasize materiality and evoke play. I approach making intuitively, allowing the work to unfold through gesture, composition, and personal narrative rather than rigid planning so my work is constantly evolving. The main themes that are explored in my work involve the female form, womanhood, emotion, spirituality, introspection, affirmations and evoking child-like wonder.

SENTIMENTAL
In my work ‘Sentimental’, the serene figure lies cocooned in rest and contemplation. She cradles the glowing star in her hand as an emblem of wishfulness.The motif of the running rabbits, juxtaposes the still woman, who remains undisturbed in a sanctuary of tenderness and quiet reflection. The central rabbit stands out as a celestial body, tethered to the ethereal and the human form, carrying spiritual energy within its earthly vessel. Overall, my artwork aims to invite the viewer into my inner world, reflecting on the innate connection I feel to the universe and Gaia.Through this visual narrative, softness is re-contextualised as a profound strength, acknowledging the spiritual empowerment of our cosmic selves.
